Nania Cosmo - seat belt in the way

Hi.
I'm just wondering if anybody has experience of this car seat.
I have just installed it today in my car for our 9 month old and wondering if I have it installed correctly (I have seen a video online and seems as if I did it the same way).
Compared to the other seats we have the issue is that the seat belt is in the way when putting her into the seat & we have to lift her up over it to get her in. It's quite difficult to place her comfortably in the seat as a result. It seems very awkward.
Anyone else have the same issue or have I installed it incorrectly?
I don't have the option of going in the other side of the car and placing her in that way (with no seat belt obstruction) as there is already a seat there for our other daughter.

Thanks for any advice.

Hi, yes, this is correct for rear facing mode. It's unfortunately standard for car seats of this type - combination up to 18kg rear and forward facing, seatbelt fitted. You'll find the same with any other seat, unless you look at isofix fitting or the infant carrier seats which go up to 13kg only.

As an unrelated point, how heavy is your little girl? Are you aware the rear facing limit on this one is only 10kg? It wouldn't be safe to use it rear facing if she's over that weight. At 9 months she is very little to be forward facing, though. If you need info about changing the seat let me know and I can recommend some lower cost options.
