Hi,
I'm looking for recommendations for a high back booster seat for my four year old? What would you recommend?

There's a huge choice of HBB's. Whats your budget? Do you need Isofix?
We have a Cybex Solution Q2 fix for DD and it's been fab. It expands width ways as well as the head rest raising up. I think it was about £180 but when you work out that this is the seat your child will probably use for the longest we figured it was worth it. She's been in it since she was 4 and she's now 7.5 with plenty of room in it.

Thanks @MissRainbowBrite, I don't have a fixed budget as such, but don't want to buy the most expensive just because it's the most expensive either.
We've always bought car seats with isofix.
Yours sounds good, DS4 is big for his age so expansion room is a must. And yes, as you say, it's the seat they will be in the longest, which I've only just discovered really, I didn't realise how long children use booster seats for these days.

DD has loved hers from day one. It has a good side impact protection and a great headrest design that prevents nodding dog heads if your little one still nods off in the car. It's isofix too.
Good luck on your search. I'm sure you'll get some other recommendations.

The advice with HBB is always to try them in your car and get the one that fits the car the best.

Isofix on HBBs just holds the seat in place when your child isn't in it. If you don't have an isofix one, you have to strap the HBB in with the car seat belt when the child isn't in it. The isofix doesn't hold your child at all, your child and the seat are restrained by the car seatbelt when they're in it.

Thanks for that @teaandbiscuitsforme, I know our local store only has a couple of options (one cheap, one mid range and one expensive) but I might try them at the weekend.
