Can I use an isofix base in the rear of a 208 for my newborn?

I am 6 months pregnant and looking at 3 in 1 travel systems, had all but decided on one only to discover that my manual for the Peugeot 208 says the back seat is not suitable for infant car seats under 6 months. My car was registered in 2013. Has anyone used an infant car seat with travel system and base in the rear of a 208 like mine?

That doesn't sound right. Can you take a picture of the manual?

At worst you might not be able to use a base of the seats are too sloped to get a good fit but you would still be able to fit the car seat with a seatbelt. This is just as safe as isofix, it just takes a few seconds longer to fit.

Hello, just to update, sorry I never got round to taking the photo. I bought the car seat and have had the little one now, the car seat is fine. Thanks for replying. Just updating in case anyone ever has a similar question.
