Isofix and seat belt car seat

Can anyone recommend a car seat that’s isofix and seatbelt comparable? I want to be able to use it with a seatbelt if someone’s looking after my LO for the day. She’s 9kg so one that is from this weight.

We are preferably looking for one that includes the isofix and does up to at least 4 years old.

How old is she? And what's her predicted height and weight at 4? (Track it in her red book). Because although car seats have started saying up to age 4, that actually means up to 18kg or until they outgrow the harness.

If your DD is on the higher centiles like my two are, an 18kg seat won't last until 4 so you'd need a 25kg seat. They're also worth considering even if your child is on the lower centiles because they'd last a long time. The Axkid Minikid and Britax Two Way Elite are two 25kg seats to consider.

She’s 9 months old and floats between the 75th-90th percentile but she’s very tall.

I’ve just started looking at the joie every stage fx as it seems to be both seatbelt and isofix - I probably wouldn’t keep it until she’s 12 but it’s nice to have the option! Only thing is it doesn’t do isofix until it’s forward facing which is a long way off. It’s so hard finding one that suits!!

If she's 75th centile plus you'd be much better to get a 25kg seat to keep her harnessed until she's at least 4. She's similar to my daughter who was 3 last month and close to 18kg now. Obviously rear facing is far safer than forward facing but there are 25kg forward facing seats available but she's far too young for them at the moment. The Diono Radian 5 is the only seat that rear and forward faces to 25kg.

She would outgrow the Joie harness before 4 and then you'd have to use the seat belt to hold her in as a high back booster. Some people would do that but it's not the safest thing until she's over 4.5 and can sit maturely without a harness. I would not trust my DD with no harness at the moment and she's pretty good for a 3 year old.

The Britax Two Way Elite is only available from the In Car Safety Centre in the U.K. Not sure if you're near them but you can order online and they'll provide support in fitting it. It's a very good seat, very universal so it fits the vast majority of cars.

The Britax Evolva 123 lasted a long time, height wise, but it's not isofix.

The Romer is a similar design, that might be worth looking at. Check how easy it is to install with a seatbelt though if you're going to be doing it frequently.

There's also the Axkid Move which is a slightly more basic version of the Minikid. It's about £100 cheaper but still as safe as the Minikid (which is one of the safest car seats available because it's passed the Swedish Plus test).
