Any experience with Kiddy Evo Lunafix lie flat infant seat?

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with Kiddy Evo Lunafix lie flat seat.
its slightly heavier (4.9kg) than the Maxicosi Cabriofix (3.35kg) and compatible with our iCandy Strawberry 2.
However DH feels the lie flat option is better as we take 2 hr car journeys at least once a week.

I don't know anyone who has used this brand so would appreciate opinions.
Is it easy to use? Would you recommend it?

It can't be used lie flat in the car so it wouldn't help with a 2 hour car journey. The lie fake nose in that car seat is only for use in a pram chassis. There are some Jane car seats that can be used lie flat in the car but they are extremely heavy.

O I thought it was the Kiddy Evolution 2 was the model that could not lie flat in the car and the Evo lunafix could.

We have a cybex cloud q which lies flat.

It weighs 5.4kg so slightly more than the evo.

It's great if you're stopping at services which we used to do on long drives or to clip to the pram base if baby is asleep without waking them.

But it's super heavy. I can't carry it now with my 2nd centile 8 month old DD in, I'm not very strong or big though. My husband finds it fine.

We're just about to buy a big rotating erf seat(sirona or spin 360) for the main car as I can't carry the lie flat one anymore.

Yes, sorry, I think you are right and the lunafix can be used lie flat in the car whereas the evolution can't be.

I have this seat. It's great but does take up quite a lot of room in the lie flat position. It might be worth just popping to mothercare or somewhere to see how far forward you'd need the passenger seat when it's lying flat (we didn't do this!). We use it in lie flat mode on the pushchair all the time in place of a carrycot. My son is 5 weeks btw.

Yes I will try get to see one in real life this weekend but unfortunately the nearest stockist is about 2.5 hours away.
We will probably eventually get a swivel seat.

Yes, the Evolunafix is an excellent seat. Just check it fits in your car in the lie flat position, but it is handy to have for using flat on the pushchair chassis too. The newer Evoluna i-Size has great safety ratings - the best infant car seat in crash tests to date. It actually gets slightly better results when used in the lie flat position, than the upright one.

We've just bought one of these for or DD who is due soon as I do a lot of driving. We saw it online and then at a baby show this weekend and (I know it's their job but) said they really sold it to us well and I do think it's worth the money. Have a look at the 2016 models available on their website as they have a few colours left which are exactly the same technology just different fabric in the seat.

Can anyone help please? My daughter has bought the 3-in-1 OBaby car seat, pram/pushchair, but she is finding it impossible to get the isofix base, even from the manufacturer. Does anyone have one? Or know if there is a compatible one please?

If O'Baby don't have and isofix base, then no other isofix base can be substituted as you need the correct base for the seat that you have.
