Easy to use car seat for grandparents' car

Can anyone recommend a good car seat for my parents' car? It could be for 9 months - 4 years or 9 months - 11 years, ideally the latter (my DS is a tall 2 year old). My parents are getting on a bit so ergonomics are an issue. I know the maxi cosi axiss twists, which would be good, but are there any others to consider? Thanks!

How about the Britax Evolva? It has a 5-point harness to 18kgs, then is used as a high backed booster until the child is 135cm tall/12 years old (whichever comes first). I think the harness goes a little higher than the ones in a Group 1 (9-18kgs) seat.

It's got quite a 'shallow' seat (and sits low down in the car), so depending on what car it's going in your son could probably climb onto it himself. If he's the sort of child who likes to cooperate! That might help your parents.

Thank you @AliceMum09 that's really helpful. It seems you can get a good deal on those so I'll try to find somewhere we can take a look at it and give it a go. Thanks!
