Where do I find the expiry date on britax seats

I am about to move my v heavy 18.5 kg 3 year old into a high back booster. I have two but wanted to check that they aren't too old. I can't find the date of manufacture anywhere.
Any ideas?
They are kidfix isofix seats.

Britax seats don't have an expiry date. They told me that via email when I enquired about using one of their First Class seats (that was bought for my first baby in 2006) for my third baby due March 2012.

She turned out to be a very petite child, so I'm still occasionally using the seat rear facing for her aged 3 1/2 as she doesn't even weigh 13kgs yet. So it's 9 1/2 years old now.

They said as long as it's an R44/04 seat (current standards, which your KidFix will be) and hadn't been in a collision it was fine to use. Apparently the plastic they use doesn't degrade over time.

There might be a manufacture date stamped on the seat somewhere, possibly a series of dials in the plastic pointing to a month and a year. But definitely no expiry date.

What Alice said (I made similar enquiries). They expiry date is now only required in the USA, but the quality of plastic is now actually far better and does not degrade unless it's been damaged in an accident.

Your dad is younger than my ds Alice. I can't imagine him still fitting in a first class. He's a giant!

We've no idea how she's turned out like that, I've always been what you'd call well-built (my dad's nicknames for me growing up were big 'un or Slim Jim!) and my other two children are 'normal' build (and DS is tall too).

Oh and Alice is the name of my middle child, not me!

My other dc are pretty normal sized so it's rather strange. its a shame he's too hefty to pick up and feels more grown up. Still my baby though.

I knew what you meant, I had to read back through my post to make sure it wasn't me that had tried to type DD and ended up with Dad (stupid iPad often changes it!).

Just for clarification and proof, I noticed somebody asked the same question on Britax's Facebook page today and here is the reply they got:

"Hi Tracey, we cannot comment on other manufacturers products, but we can assure you that BRITAX car seats do not have expiration dates. Our seats can be continued to be used as long as they are not involved in an accident and conform to the current legislation."

I read a post on a rear facing Facebook page that basically said no UK car seats expire it is to do with some sort of American regulation we have this issue cropping up. I will try and find it.
