Cybex Pallas - 10 month old hates Crash Cushion

Hi, My 10 month Ds sits quite low and subsequently hates the crash cushion. He can hardly see over it. Any suggestions on how to get him used to it, greatly appreciated. Thanks

I've never had a seat with an impact cushion, but if your son can barely see over it isn't that going to be dangerous in a crash? Won't his face hit the cushion?

At his age I would be keeping him rear facing in a seat with a 5-point harness.

He sounds to small for the seat. He might still fit in his baby seat. Ideally he should still be rear facing at that age
