Is the Cybex Sirona worth the money/best choice for an ERF seat?

Lots of threads on here about ERF seats at the moment. It's just bewildering trying to make a choice isn't it Confused Weighing up the safety features, ease, cost etc. Just so difficult.

Thinking of getting the Cybex Sirona although it's over double the price of the others I was thinking of (e.g. Joie i-Anchor). Definitely tempted by the swivel feature to put DS in more easily...

My requirements:

  • Must fit into Kia Picanto
  • Must fit into other cars which don't have Isofix
  • Can be switched between cars without great difficulty
  • Can be comfortably rear facing until age 4.

Does the Cybex Sirona tick all these boxes?

Thanks!

The Sirona is isofix only.

We have one and I like it, but I also have the Axkid Minikid and I prefer that. The harness is easier to tighten, it's a bit bigger and although I thought I would, I don't even use the swivel function on the Sirona.

Also, my DD (50th centile) is almost four and fits in the Sirona comfortably still, but I can't see DS (99.6th centile) still fitting it at four. We bought the Minikid for mainly that reason, as he'll go in it when he outgrows the Sirona. It's an up to 25kg seat. I was originally put off by non isofix seats as I was worried about incorrect fitting, but it's actually really easy.

I also found Securatot great for advice on the phone.
