How do you get a child into a Joie Tilt/Steadi? Seat belt looks to be in the way!

Been watching installation videos. Can't work out how you would get a child in easily once the seatbelt is in the way!

We have a Steadi and tbh I do find putting my 22 month old through the belt a bit of a pain but you can hold it out of the way or go round the other side and do it from there.its not a drastic issue and doesn't put me off the seat in any way.

Thanks :). We will have another seat on the other side, so will have to do it from the door. Glad it's not too awkward getting a child in!

It took me a bit of getting used to but once you figure it out its fine :)

We did it for 2 years, it must be fine. Dd2 probably mostly got in herself though. Plus it was in the middle of two other seats for a good while.

Reading that back its possible I'm so immune to car seat awkwardness after dealing with 3 in a row for a few years that it's actually very irritating and i just haven't noticed.

It is a touch awkward, but perfectly manageable - with 2.5 year old DS (still RF) I tend to move the belt out of the way, sometimes lodging it to one side in order to strap him in before freeing it and giving a quick tug to check positioning...
