Car seats

Easy-to-fit ERF seat that definitely fits Vauxhall Vectra?

We have a BeSafe iZi Combi in our car, and are looking for an ERF seat for my parents' Vectra (2007). The seats are weirdly slanted (backwards) and apparently some Britax and BeSafe seats don't fit very well in there, although TBH the iZi Combi seems fine.

Can anyone recommend a reasonably-priced seat ERF seat (ideally til 18 or 25kgs) that they have experience of fitting in a Vectra? It'll be staying in there most of the time, but will come out maybe once a week, so easy fitting is important, as my parents aren't very confident with car seats and get themselves in a bit of a flap about it.

The Vectra has Isofix but I don't mind belted, as long as it's straightforward and fairly foolproof to fit. But am I right in thinking there's nothing Isofix ERF past 18kgs?

Thanks very much in advance.

Yep, nothing past 18kg as isofix is only tested and okayed (so far) up to that weight limit. I'm just about to order the BeSafe Plus (25kg) for my car. It's not a Vectra I'm afraid. However, I had a good chat with an ERF dealer who said that as I already have a BeSafe up to 18kg this should fit just fine as they're all very similar. Sorry, not quite the advice you were after, hope there's some Vectra people out there!

This company have all the info on their computer! They ask what cars you are using it in.

I don't have a vectra but I have weird slopey rear seats, a cybex sirona fits fine. It's not belted. It looks very comfy. Toddler loves it. It's easy to fit.

Just saw your thread, hope this reply isn't too late for you!
We have a Vectra 2007 model with a britax Max Fix 2 Erf seat. It fits fine and is easy to install though I would recommend getting the isofix guides to make it really quick and easy (don't know about your parents' car but our isofix points are 'hidden' iyswim)
Hope that is helpful!
