What kind of car seat for large three-and-a-quarter year-old?

My daughter is 3yrs 3 months old but tall and big for age. Weighs about 16kg and is about 1m tall. She HATES being strapped into five point car seat but I'm not sure if she is big enough for seat belt/booster type seat yet. What kind do or did u use at this stage?

I kept mine in the harnessed seat until 18kgs (the maximum weight limit for the seat) and then they moved to a high backed booster seat. The minimum weight for for the hbb is 15kgs but they are safer staying in the harnessed seat until they are too tall/too heavy for it.

You could buy a 123 seat which is a harness seat that converts into a booster by removing the straps. Britax evolva for example.
