HELP! Can't find a seat to fit our Vauxhall Vectra estate SRI XP CDTI!

Hello all!
Our DD (3yrs and 9 months) is almost at the point for her next car seat.
Have spent ages on-line reading up on the best seats, and narrowed it down to 5.
Went to Mothercare yesterday, and we tested the seats in our car, with our DD in situ. However, we can not get a child seat that fits our car!!!

Has anyone else had this problem?

Just phoned our local Vauxhall dealer, and also the head office, and neither could help!

Not sure what to do next!

Mothercare gave me the names of 4 more isofix seats that i could read up on on-line, but they don't stock them, and we would have to buy the seat to then try it in our car, and if it didn't fit we would get a refund, but would then have to buy another seat to try, and so on!

Frustrated!

What year is your Vectra? We have an 04 estate and have a non-isofix seat from Mothercare that they fitted and fits ds2 and our car fine (ds2 is 4y 3months and we got the seat last summer). It was the only seat they had that fits our Fiat Panda as well!

Can't remember the name off the top of my head, but it's one that will last until he's 12 (removable harness and then removable back even later on). Will check and get back to you.

It's an 07 plate.
We ideally want an isofix one.
