Help- Which car seat for a small 5dr car? Punto, Matiz, Micra?

Hi, I'm about to buy a new car. Probably a Daewoo Matiz or a Nissan Micra or a Fiat Punto. All small, 5dr cars probably around 1999-2003. However, I don't want to buy a car I can't get car seats for, or fit my current car seats into. I have two children, a 12mth and a three year old so both still need proper seats. I have a maxi cosi XP and a Britax Eclipse. will either of both of these fit into any of the above cars? Or which seats, if any fit safely into the above cars?

We took tried our car seats and buggy in the car we were buying.

Eclipse has a slim base so should be ok.

Just research buckle crunch so you know what to look for. That's the main problem in fitting car seat and can be fatal if ignored

Ensure that you test actual fit by pulling on straps forward and ensure seat doesn't come away by more than a couple of cms.

I have a Grande Punto, so slightly bigger than the cars you're looking at, but our Eclipse (spare seat) fits really easily into it when we need it to. To be fair, it fits in every car I've tried it in.

I've been looking at getting a new car recently too, and the first thing I ask is if I can try my car seats in there - no-one has minded yet!
