ISOfix, seat belt or one of the seat bases secured with a seat belt for new born

ISOfix, seat belt or one of the seat bases secured with a seat belt for new born. Any advice please on what is best for a new born car seat.

Are ISOfix expensive for 9 months to a year?

Quite like the fixed base with a seat belt and then just clip the baby seat in I assume.

Have a Ford Fiesta but heard the seat belts are not long enough for certain seats.

Any help and advice much appreciated.

We had a ISP fix base that locked in and then we clipped the car seat into it. I wasBlush when my husband initially suggested it as it seemed a bit excessive but 2 kids later I luff it. Can't do without it. All maxi cosi stuff. The few times I have had to use the seat belt to secure the car seat seem like a complete PITA. Can't recommend it enough and really good for safety ratings.

isofix base definitely. I don't see the point of seat belting in the isofix base unless it is as your back up option in a vehicle without isofix.
