Which? is recommending that parents replace their Nania Trio Plus Group 0/1/2 child car seat after it achieved the lowest possible score in our car seat test.

This is known by Maxi SP by kiddicare too.

Within the article is details of what the companies are happy to do regarding the return of the seats.

Thanks for the info. We have a nania seat and it looks similar so I will be doing a bit more investigating.

The Asda article is interesting - it shows how the car seat has been changed, but the changes only make the plastic shell slightly stronger. They have done nothing to change the seat belt routing, which the Which? article points out is the big problem with this seat.
If you have it, or the newer and 'improved' Nania Trifit check where the seat belt sits on your child when used as a Group 2 seat. If the adult seat belt is sitting across their tummy and neck it could cause injuries in a crash.

Good point. Team tex to have made such basic error makes me wonder why they are even still producing seats!

I went shopping today and asda are still selling the trifit nania seat in their babycare section.they don't look very sturdy or well made.id stay clear to be honest and trust a more well known brand such as graco or britax for safety reassurance
