Are there any stage 1 RF seats that don't have a support leg?

I've become a bit obsessed with finding the safest seat. My search has been ruined by the discovery that both mine and DH car have underfloor storage.

What are the options?

The only seat I know of that does not have a foot prop is the Britax Two way elite. A friend has this seat and it looks good. Its a 9-25kg seat so should last ages (her DS is a v large 3yr old and still has masses of growing room)
Im sure i've seen people mention on here that some seats in certain cars miss the storage box lid or reach the bottom of box. I would recommend you give the people at In Car Safety Centre a ring, number can be found on their web site here. They have been realy helpful to us in the past and realy know their stuff. If you are near enough to Milton Keynes then I would go vist and try out some seats, you may find one that misses the storage box or has a foot prop long enough to reach the bottom of the box.

As myboots suggests try giving In Car Safety Centre - they are fab wrt anything car seat related.

We have underfloor storage in a VW Caddy Maxi Life and the garage ordered some filling to be sent over from Germany so that you could use a seat with a foot prop. We have a Hi-Way II

If you check the manuals the manf. may allow for the prop to rest on the bottom of the underfloor storage compartment (i.e. remove the lid completely) or the lid may be suitable for a foot prop to be used with it.

Ask on the Rear facing the way forward page for what seats people have in those cars. My friend has the axkid in her touran. Not sure what reg it is though. Think leg extended into box but she still got fillers as it was a better fit.

Besafe range are quite good at missing storage boxes too.
