What age did you put your Brittax two way elite seat in the upright extended legroom rear facing position?

I have a leggy 20 month old and was considering whether to put the seat into the more upright position. But was wondering whether 20 months is a bit premature!

Any experience with it?

Thanks

Ours has always been upright ever since DS went in it at about 8 months. Not sure if it gives more legroom though as our DS doesn't have much. We don't use it for long journeys though (use the other car and the Besafe Izi Combi) as if he falls asleep his head rolls forward.

Does reclined not give more legroom as it'll be angled up won't it so their legs dangle down (if that makes sense)?
