Britax 1st Class vs Maxi Cosi Opal vs Klippan Kiss / Duologic

Hi,

I am looking for a car seat for my first child. I've read lots of things about the three car seats but am really struggling to decide!

Britax 1st Class ~ £100
Maxi Cosi Opal ~ £150
Klippan Kiss / Duologic ~ £300

I've read that the Klippan / Duologic is the best out of the three but what is causing my dilema is the price difference. They wouldn't sell the Britax / Klippan if they weren't safe so I am just wondering what most people have done? Have you gone for the king of seats, if yes, why? Or was cost the deciding factor since all seats have passed the safety tests?

I have a VW Polo and these three seats fit in the car.

I would get the kiss It's a proper extended rearfacing seat and will be all you need til high backed booster stage.

The first class and opal and both only likely to rearface til too.

The britax is a pain to fit rearfacing and needs alot of belt.
Have heard the opal has recline issues.

hi, i have had the kiss in a polo, 3 and 5 door. i have also had the britax hi-way 2 which looks like the first class but is from 0-25kgs too. it fits well and you still have good front passenger leg room. it has passed the swedish plus test and i think from memory the kiss has too.

:)
