Please tell me the pros and cons of one for a 6month old baby - who is small

It's a good seat that will take your baby up to 13kg, or until his/her head reaches the top. DD is still in hers and she's just gone past 18 months!

Hmm tempted to buy one for one of my charges as i know this fits my car using the seat belt

Ours lasted until our dts were 16 months and could probably have gone on longer. I only bought them because of the newborn support wedge because our babies were prem and needed a bit more support than other seats offered. I would buy one again if I ever needed to.

Another question - where will I get one cheap?!?!?
