Is this the end of the harness?

Need help - my 4yo is still only 16.5kg and is in a Mothercare XP HBB with a 5 point harness. She's at the height where her shoulders are well above the highest strap level.
Although I'd prefer to keep her in the harness for a few more kg, is it time to admit defeat and remove it altogether? I'm not sure which is the safest approach TBH.

personally i would want to keep her harnessed as long as possible. it might be worth trying some others to see if the harness slots are higher? the britax evolva 1-2-3 is very adjustable and fitted ds1 for ages

The car seats with impact cushions are actually safer in collisions than 5 point harnesses - some of those are stage 1 2 3 ones so probably the best option as she sounds tall but lean?

like this one, but there are others out there
