Maxi Cosi Axiss car seat - how long did it last?

Hi all,

My 1st post, so please bear with me! my DD has just turned 2 and is currently in a Britax Duo Plus Isofix car seat. Have always loved it, but I have recently seriously hurt my back & as such am struggling to get her in & out of it, but mainly with the twisting I have to do to fasten the straps.

Because of this, I have been looking to buy a Maxi Cosi Axiss car seat because of the swivel feature. She is a petite girl, at her 2 year review she weighed just 26lb, but she is quite tall (75th centile for height). Just wondered if anyone had had one of these how they felt about the height? How long until your child outgrew it? Can't really justify the expense if she's only going to be in it a year & is then too tall for it....

Any advice or even general reviews of the car seat would be gratefully received.

Just noticed this, so sorry if you've had info elsewhere and made a decision. I had one for DS (have kept it for subsequent children) and it was fab! He went into it at 9 months, and used it up until he was almost 4. Height-wise it'd still be fine for him and he's tall for his age (4.1), but weight-wise he's too big now at nearly 17kg so he's in a high-back booster.
