Can I fit 3 car seats across the back of a Zafira?

It would be for two HBBs and a baby carrier, moving on to two HBBs and a stage 1. If anybody knows the answer it would be very helpful!

It is a Zafira B, the one from 2005 onwards, and not the new touring one.

I have an ancient zafira, a 5 year old in a graco HBB, a 3 year old in a pampero, at the moment with 5 point harness but can also be used with seatbelt and a creatis infant carrier. I think that once the baby is in the next stage I will have to put the big one on a booster cushion, at which point he willl go in the middle so that the seats on either side offer the side protection.

I found that if I put the 2 HBBs next to each other then they pressed on the buckles and seat belts came undone so I have the baby in the middle and the others either side. It is a squeeze and to do the seat belts up you have to pull the seat to the side, strap the child in then push it back and adjust the belt but it does work!

If you can't get them to work then I was told by a fitter it was safer to put a child in a HBB in the front with the seat as far back as possible than it would be to have a child in one of the rear seats in the boot full time.

I seriously pissed off another set of fitters at Halfords I think though by taking all my carseats with me and trying various combinations when buying dd's HBB but hey I was pg and I bloody well wanted to find something to fit!

Thanks, that's very helpful! I don't want to use the rear seats as they seem so unsafe and I need the boot to carry around all my crap essential items.
