As the title says really - we're looking for a budget group 123 car seat for very very occasional use. I'm talking maybe once or twice a year tops. It's for when we visit friends at the other end of the country and will stay at their house.

Any suggestions? It's for a nearly 4 year old btw.

what weight is your lo? If they are over 15kgs then they could use a group 2/3 seat which would give you more options. If your lo is nearly 18kgs then I wouldnt get a 123 seat as the harness is only suitable up to 18kgs at which point you would switch to using it with the car seatbelt instead

I'm a fairly long way from Peterbrough. The cheapest I've seen the britax 123 online so far is around £99.
