Is there a group 1 rear facer that can fit in lots of different cars?

Mostly be a 2003 freelander and a 2003 laguna, but may also have to go in other cars too as I don't drive yet, I hope to soon and when I get a car it will be a small one! Any advice?

Every carseat fit differently in each car you are better either going onto the britax fit finder website or a reputable company like mothercare who will be able to try there carseats in your car for you I went and had great service and advice you may have to book a appointment for the fitting service

Hi .We have got the britax two way elite. It fits in many cars. Ive fitted it in 8 cars so far but no idea how well it fits in a freelander or laguna but i would be surprised if he doesnt fit.

The britax fit finder can't recommend a seat that actually fits properly, they all have to reclined or have some sort of warning.
I think I will call the in car safety centre and see what they say. I have no way of going and trying seats as my previous was involved in a crash so have no seat at all for DD! Luckily no one was hurt and the GPs had just left the seat in the car, we did have the maxi cosi tobi before but I would like a erf if possible.
I also thought mothercare. etc were rubbish at fitting seats?

Thank you

I don't have a rear facing seat, but as a non driver I really recommend the Kiddy seats, with the impact cushion. Have fitted in every car I've tried and really quick/easy to fit, too. It was enough of a compromise for me personally, as they very much lessen the impact on the spine in a collision compared to harnessed FF seats, which is the main reason to choose RF.

What is a kiddy seat? Dd is 3 in May but only 25lbs and a dink so worry about her.

These: www.kiddy.de/en/kiddy-child-safety-car-seats-baby-car-seats-child-seats-with-the-original-impact-shield-for-maximum-safety.html

We have the Kiddy Infinity Pro which is the cheapest model, but there are a lot more out now. When DS was going into one of these they were very new and they only had 2. John Lewis stock them, I think, if you wanted to look at one in a real shop, and Mamas & Papas do a version called the Cybex Pallas which they also have in their shops.

As another bonus, DS is 3.4 and went in a friend's maxi cosi group 1 seat recently and his head was off the top, it isn't even touching the top in the Kiddy one. So they would probably fit for longer, too.
