Help Please! What car seat works with RIB seats (in a VW T5 campervan)?

Hello!

We went to try and buy a car seat today but unfortunately were not able to find one which we worked with our RIB seats. We are not able to put a car seat in the front of the van since we are not able to disable the air bag.

Unfortunately, the car seats we tried today (Britax and Maxi Cosi of varying types) did not fit our RIB seats since the seat belt buckle is quite long and it meant there was buckle strain on each seat we tried.

Does anyone know what car seats work with RIB seats?

hi, i have read either on here or on the rf forum about a campervan. can't remember what they got and can't find it! i would either ring the essex road safety officers or the in car safety centre.
