Child won't fit in seat in coat...

I'm sure I'm not first one to have this problem, but it has me flumoxed! We have the kiddy infinity pro, which has been great so far.

However, obviously needed coat this morning as freezing cold - he just won't fit in with it on! Tried taking little cushion out from under his bum, but then he's way too low.

Is there a solution other than taking coat off? Our car takes forever to warm up, and I don't want him being cold getting in/out. Help please!

You should take his coat off anyway because the padding will mean that the bumper bars are too loose to stop your DS flying out of them in the event of a crash. Child in car seat, straps/bumper done then a blanket over the top is the way to go.

Agree with the above poster children should not ware coats in the car.

I know you are using a impact cushion seat but the same would ably. shows you how much difference it makes.

Thanks for advice! I didn't realise that Blush.

Any advice for getting blanket to stay on? He's only 15 months so will inevitably pull it off!

Clever idea on that video about putting coat on backwards over the straps if they have a harness type seat!

Morrck blankets. I love mine (although tbf, you could probably make one much mroe cheaply. I think the coast has been well worth it, though due to how much use it has had.
