Hi, we are due to go on a long drive to the airport in a taxi. We will need 2 booster seats as DDs are just (only just) under the 135cm legal limit. The company are happy for us to use our own in the car, but we have one hbb which would be too big as the car will be full up, and eldest dd says her old hbb is too uncomfortable now she is taller and uses a backless booster, but this is really hard. I have looked on the net but would like a backless booster for her that has a comfortable base, maybe cushioned, but as she won't be in it long (due to her height, not this journey) I don't want to spend a silly amount of money. Has anyone any recommendations please?

hmmm...in a word no! i've been looking in work and racking my brains as to what is a good padded one but to now avail, the 'squishiest' one i can find is the halfords own brand which i think is £8.49 in store and if you buy 2 you get 10% off :-D is she currently on the graco one by any chance? they do graco pedic foam on their crappy HBB but the back comes off and it converts to booster cushion.....what im trying to get at is if dd is on the graco booster you may be able to get the pedic foam inserted for it.
