Car seat to fit Nissan X Trail 2005 / leather seats

Hi, can anyone help please, just bought X Trail and car seat that is meant to fit ( according to manufacturer's website) just looks wrong! Car has leather seats, could this be problem? Does anyone have this model or similar?

hi, what age/weight for? if you read through the instructions most car seats will give you a fitting list. my cabrio has fitted all cars and so has my two way elite. don't have leather seats in either car but not sure why this would make a difference?

We have these www.mothercare.com/Mothercare-Neatseat/dp/B000ILEQUQ for our leather seats, they protect the seats and make the car seat not slip around on the leather.

nicm - It's a group 2/3 seat and it is meant to fit - maxi cosi website and instructions say it should, but it doesn't.

whereisthefire - thanks, these look good and might help a bit, the seat still doesn't look quite right because of the angle of the back bench though...
