Car carrycot which needs assembling??????

Has anyone heard of car carrycots arriving unassembled? I have been told over the phone by a friend that they have bought me one online and that it took ages to assemble. I don't want to appear ungrateful but I am highly skeptical about how safe this thing could be. Any thoughts on this would be gratefully received.

They don't mean it took ages to fit it in the car did they?

Only our lie flat car seat took a good 15 mins for us to get it installed properly first time. 30 seconds a go after that though.

If any car seat came in bits I'd be a bit Confused tbh

Thanks for your opinion :) Unfortunately they didn't mean to fit it in the car. It seems totally crazy though doesn't it. I really wanted to choose a car seat myself and do some research to make sure its safe before buying it. It's all a bit awkward now though!

do you know what make model it is?

you should really try out carseats before you buy as not all carseats fit safely in all cars.

if its a carrycot,im assuming it fits the pram system you have already bought?
