Can I put my 18month old Britax seat in front seat of car?

Can I do this? I have lots of luggage to move and if I folded down the backseat I could fit more stuff in the car but obviously would not dream of putting ds at risk.
Advice welcome :)

You can as long as you disable the airbag. If you cannot switch it off you must not put him in the front.

its perfectly legal to put him in the front, even with the airbag active, not recommended, but if you have to and cant turn the airbag off,put the front passenger seat as far back as possible.

If he is rearward facing it is illegal. it is legal if he is forward but if you can't turn bag off you should move the seat as far back as possible so that he would be less injured by it.
