DD is 4.2 and weighs 16kilos. She happily fits into her MLaxi Cosi Priorifix seat.

But, having checked their site, it says it is for toddlers weight 18kilos max and age 3.5.

Can we continue to use it until she weighs 18 kilos or as she is over 3.5 do we have to change right now?

Grrrr.

its the weight and the height that are the most important not the age. As long as her eyes are below the top of the seat then she is still ok as she is still under the max weight limit. if her eyes are above the top of the seat then she would need to move up to a high backed booster as she would be too tall. ( the min weight requirement for a hbb is 15kg) You can get high backed boosters that have 5 point harness in them that you could still use until she reaches 18kg and then you would take the harness off and just use it with the cars 3 point seatbelt. hth
