Maxi Cosi car seat - advice & best price?

I had a travel system with baby 1, but I'm getting a different (secondhand) pram for no 2 and need a Maxi Cosi.
CabrioFix and Pebble fit on the pram.

First, the isofix base - is this useful? And is there one that will do for either, or is there a new base for pebble but a different one for cabrio?

Also where can I get the cheapest best price? Is secondhand a complete nono?

We have the cabriofix seat as it also goes on our icandy. We have the family fix base and it makes putting the car seat into the car just sooooo easy. I would absolutely definitely recommend it! When they outgrow the cabriofix the pearl seat will then fit onto the family fix base.

When we were buying ours I don't think the family fix was listed everywhere as matching with the cabriofix seat (only the pebble) but if you look on the maxi cosi website it does actually fit.

You can also check the isofix of the base will go with whatever vehicle you're driving.
