My daughter is about to turn four and will need to be put into a new car seat. Is the next option a booster, if so what do fellow mumsnetters recommend for safety, price and ease of use? Many thanks in advance.

I think at 4 a high backed booster is recommended, one where the adult seatbelt is threaded through the top of the seat then fastened normally. We have one like this

Has your daughter outgrown her safety seat. For our "Best Practice Guide" please click on the link:www.trl.co.uk/child-seat-safety-centre/RCTBP.pdf For information on booster systems please click on the link:www.trl.co.uk/child-seat-safety-centre/BSC.pdf

Yes, should probably point out that my Dd is about to turn 5 and has only just outgrown her safety seat and moved into the high backed booster.
