car seat for 1 yo till 4 yo which can go in any cars

Hi, DD2 is 1 and growing out of her 0+ car seat.
We are having only rental cars or work cars, we usually don't have a choice, it is what my husband workplace has as a spare.
It can be anything from a small Kia to a 4 wheels drive. Often a Dacia (Renault cheap cars)

Do you have any idea which car seat would be the most volatile? or which car seat fit small cars?

We use to have a Priori for DD1, and she now has Rodi, which fits anywhere. But I remember that we did had surprises with the rodi when it didn't fit some friends'cars (we had a ford focus at the time).

Oh forgot to mention it shouldn't be Isofix, as we would have trouble to have a car with it.

as far as i know theres no seat thats guaranteed to fit all cars.
you could go for the likes of the kiddy comfort with the impact cushion,its lightweight and more likely to fit most cars,

i know the similar cybex needs a long seatbelt to ft it,not sure if the kiddy one is the same or not!

maxi cosi tobi, its one of safest non isofix ones, the lab belt goes under and then is tension it and the body belt feeds around the top and locks on, it doesnt move even a tiny amount, and when you undo it the straps pop up so you dont have to fight them from under a toddler, fits great in my old fiesta, my dh's van and families cars that are sizes in between

i nearly bought a tobi until i read reviews on it, lots of people had problems with the straps,and the fact their lo's could escape from it!

with any seat like that though,it would depend where the buckle sits on the seat for sake of buckle crunch.

The Kiddy confort pro is interesting but looks massive at the base.
Does it fit a Clio for example?
Not sure where to buy it from either (we are not in the UK but have mothercare)

The britax first class has alternative routing if you have a problem with buckle crunch.

The recaro sport is excellent and apparently a good all rounder
