2 car seats + 1 adult in back of Ford C Max??

Now that DC2 and accompanying luggage has arrived, I need to buy a bigger car, and I am considering the ford c-max (old style second hand).

My question - I have car seats with isofix bases. Would there occasionally be space for an adult passenger in the middle seat inbetween or is it too small?

Or any other cars where this would work?

I've got one.
We're a normal sized family.
Plenty of room.
I love it.

I sometimes sit between my nephews in an old style c-max, one in a maxi-cosi cabriofix infant seat (no base) and one in a Mamas&Papas Vito and it was very snug.

It is ok for a quick ride but not comfortable for long, I can never fit my elbows in! I'm a size 14 though, so maybe better if you're a lovely skinny minnie!!

Thanks. It's only now and then we will need to squeeze an adult in the back so don't think it matters if it's a bit squashed. Like the look of the car so going to try to track down a good nearly new one!
