Does anyone know what car seat will fit in the front of a Renault Scenic please.

I have a Renault Scenic either 1999 or 2000 can't remember which. The front seat belts are quite short, and I want to put my baby in the front. I know I will have to get the air bag turned off first.
Does anyone know if any car seat bases will fit?

most seats will can't see that you will have a problem

Thanks for the reply. Do you mean that most bases will fit? I have a graco car seat atm without a base, and I can't get that in the front as the seat belt won't go round it, it's just not long enough.

My maxi cosi cabrio fits in the front of our scenic. About the same age as yours I think.

Oh you do have to tip the seat slightly to get the belt round the back but once it's there the seat fits perfectly.

Maybe you have to do that with your Graco?

How do you turn the air bag off?

Thanks for the replies. APixieInMyTea, didn't think of tipping the seat back, but think I would have to tip it back quite a way, as the seat belt is quite a bit too short, will have a play later tho and see.
CountessVonKnackerstein the only way to turn off the air bag as far as I know is to take the car to Renault and get them to do it.
