Hi ladies

I have my newborn in the front in the maxi cosi cabrio isofix as it can't be used in the rear sue to underfloor storage.....madness as its meant to be a family car!

My 2 year old is in a Jane Exo which I hate, so thinking as soon as our baby is the right weight (9kg I think) I will replace both seats.

What do you use in your Senic??

Really like the harness on the Maxi Cosi Tobi and also the Pearl....but they both don't seem to fit.

Starting TO HATE MY CAR!!

hi, i had a grand scenic and hated it for much different reasons! anyway...the seats i used were the maxi cosi priori sps and then found out about rf and bought a britax two way elite.

I have two booster cushions and a Britax Eclispe (I think) that is about 8 years old...

I love my Grand Scenic!

You can fit the Maxi Cosi cabriofix with the seatbelt though - no need to replace really.

I definitely wouldn't put your baby forward facing as soon as they turn 9kg - much safer to be rearfacing (and why would you not want the seat you can carry them inside asleep in? ) until they get to 13kg or their head reaches the top of the seat.

Kiddy Infinity is a fab seat But would still use the infant seat for as long as possible first.

Oh yes, going to keep him rear facing as long as possible....may even consider a group 1 rear facing seat.

I spoke to Renault today and they claim you can use isofix seats with a leg AS THEY HAVE TESTED THE UNDER FLOOR STORAGE AND IT IS FINE IN A CRASH......they promised they would call Maxi Cosi and update them and call me back with a list of seats by 5:30pm.....its now 9:30pm....I guess they may call tomorrow then!!

Thanks for advice...will look at the Kiddy Infinity. Did it do well in Which? tests do you know?

Yes Kiddy Infinity got a Which Best Buy IIRC. It's not isofix but is so simple to install it doesn't really need it if that makes sense?

Does it wobbly though? Is the recline good? I guess its still safer to travel rearward though.

It's not wobbly. The recline is a bit crap - can't recline when they are in it and it doesn't recline much anyway. But DS has always seemed quite comfy when sleeping in it because he can't really slump in in, there is nowhere to go.

I think the M&P Cybex Pallas has a slightly better recline if you want one similar. It is more expeinsive though as it converts to a high backed booster.
