Worried About Text on Sunday Morning

I have pre cancer cells in my womb and have had a coil fitted.

I have regular hysteroscopies, without a general anaesthetic. The last two times they have not been able to get enough of a sample.

I had another just under three weeks ago.

This morning, I have had a text telling me that a clinician will phone me tomorrow and to be in a quiet place to take the call.

This is bad news isn't it?

Sorry to hear you’re so worried. Not have the full picture is very stressful. If you have been asked to be in a quiet place will be so you can clearly hear what is being said and can ask questions. Most diagnoses are given in person. Maybe more tests are required or you could be getting the all clear. Wishing you all the best.

@phonecallworry How did the call go ? Thinking of you

Thank you for thinking of me @P00hsticks and @LeftBoobGoneRogue

It was to tell me that they had not managed to get enough of a sample to give a meaningful result and that I will be getting booked in shortly for a general anesthetic.

I do hope that if, in the future, someone is in the same spot as me that they might find this mini thread and get some comfort from it.

In the meantime, thank you for comforting me. It helped.

How stressful and I hope the procedure goes well.
They could definitely do with rethinking their comms.
