Looking some support.
My husband is 62.
He had follow up early bowel cancer and specialist found a nodule on prostate.
His PSA 5 days after rectal exam was 14.6.
We have an MRI booked 20th and appointment with urologist on 29th October but we are both paralysed with fear.
Looking for some support.
Thankyou.

Not sure I can help v much but didn’t want to run. But my understanding it is one of the more treatable cancers. A friend had it, similar age, and is absolutely fine.

@LunaTheCat as @Bufftailed said if they catch it early enough its treatable.
Sending hugs and support x

It must have been a shock for you both but the good thing is that this has been found very early. DH is symptomless, it was found by a routine test, so the prognosis should be very good. I hope the next appointment reassures you both.
