Exhausted after breast biopsy

I had a stereotactic breast biopsy (12 samples) on Wednesday and I feel so exhausted!
I did go back to work the day after (light duties) but I'm so so tired today (Saturday)
Anyone felt dog tired after a biopsy?

You have my sympathies. I had vac biopsies of two separate areas done a couple of weeks ago and I ended up with a really sore bruised breast afterwards. Don’t underestimate the emotional toll of it as well! I always feel a bit wiped out after them and I’m sure half of it is mental exhaustion rather than physical. Fingers crossed for good news for you xx

I think biopsy under mammogram was the worst physical hour of my life. They had to biopsy 12 or more calcifications. Moving me a mm the squishing, the moving me another mm. So so painful. I had to go to bed afterwards. It was deffo the worst bit of the cancer journey apart from waiting for results and having three ops for margin clearance.

I think we underestimate the emotional tiredness that comes with what sometimes feels like fairly minor medical procedures. Rest up and hope you feel better soon.
