Hi, hope it's ok to ask here. My auntie has just been diagnosed with lung cancer and will need chemotherapy, I would like to make up a care package type thing but want to include things that will actually help. I've heard people say hand cream, lip balm etc cause your skin gets dry? Thanks in advance.

This is a good site. You can either order a bespoke box or use some of the ideas. Hope she gets through the treatment OK.

I used to make care packages for my friend who was going through treatment. The first was a hospital survival pack which included cosy socks, an eye mask and ear plugs, a mini colouring book and pencil crayons, nice smelling santitiser, lip balm, hand cream, and a few things which connected with a book series we both loved. I sent a few others, each themed. One was My Favourite Things (found something for each item in the song), Hogwarts (something for each subject from the book), Chronicles of St Marys, and a box of head decorations and wacky earrings when she lost her hair. Nothing was expensive, but I had a lot of fun putting them together and she had great fun unwrapping all the elements.
