Tips for helping my mum feel comfortable during chemo treatment

Hi all
My mum is due to start chemo next week after her breast cancer diagnosis. She will be having a 12 week course, alongside a year’s worth of Herceptin treatment.
Are there any tips or advice that you would be willing to share that can make my mum a bit more comfortable during her treatment?

My DM had a different cancer treatment- radiotherapy. What helped her was:
Favourite foods
I downloaded some films on to a iPad and got her some noise cancelling headphones.
Considering clothing if the cancer is somewhere that will not suit the clothes she wears eg some people have feeding tubes and so need to change to skirt and top not a dress
Moral support. Just being there to listen/help at home/be a distraction.
I would often email the cancer nurse on behalf of DM to take that task away from her. With any questions she had. They will also answer your questions.

You get cold. So a soft blanket and some nice socks. Plenty of reading material. Boiled sweets. Lip balm and hand cream. Herceptin gave me no side effects and I used the cooling cap for chemo and kept most of my hair. Wishing her well 💐

Thank you both for taking the time to reply. Some really helpful advice there.
Looks like a little shopping trip is in order this weekend
