Hi all
ive been referred with a 2WW for this patch on my skin- it’s been there about a year(?) but sometimes is itchy and can get pink and irritated. 3 different GP have looked at it with a dermascopy & don’t know what it is!
one said it’s inflammation, but no blood vessels or sinister features seen, another said it’s something that will just be there forever??? The last one didn’t know so did a 2WW referral. Now I’m really worried!

Whatever it is, a two week fast track if the GP is uncertain is absolutely the right path to take, particularly when the diagnosis remains uncertain despite several examinations. I'm sure a significant portion of fast tracks turn out to be nothing to worry about. Hope yours is too.
