I have has an ultrasound and was told level 3, but this was upgraded to level 4 after an MRI. I am currently waiting for an appointment with a gynae oncology surgeon, but waiting times are about a month. I would be very grateful to hear from anyone else who has been through this. How long did you have to wait for surgery and your biopsy, was it benign or cancer, and if it was cancer, what stage was it and how did everything go? Thank you so much.

Also I am meant to be going on holiday on Thursday. Did anyone travel abroad whilst waiting for surgery? Thank you.

I'm sorry you're dealing with this. I can't answer your original question other than to say that the faster diagnosis standard means they should be ruling in/out cancer within 28 days of a referral and starting treatment within 56 days if it is cancer.

In terms of your holiday, I would contact your travel insurer as you may no longer be covered and it could invalidate your entire policy if you haven't informed them.

Has anyone had an o-rads 4 referral? And a frozen biopsy?
