Should I be worried?

In 2024 I had surgery for vulval cancer, I was 'lucky" enough they removed enough that I didn't require any further treatment but did experience ecoli, MRSA and leaking (gushing) lymph wounds for about six months.

Since then been pretty stable but yesterday felt a lump on the left of my neck. Is it just lymph nodes fighting an infection or something to be worried about?

You know that we can't tell you. Make a doctor's appointment & I wish you well.

Thank you, I was just hoping someone would say nothing to worry about but knew no one could realistically do that. I'll try my luck with th GP tomorrow.

I just hate Dr's appointments appointments with my history, not blaming them at all.

I had kidney cancer last year that was totally removed and a few months ago found a lump in the left side of my neck! Reading your post gave me shivers. I totally panicked especially when my GP felt it and said she wasn’t happy but it was actually a swollen saliva gland! Good luck and I hope ur story stays the same as mine 🤞😊

I'm hoping this is the case, just got to try and see my GP. Hopefully unrelated, my left leg which is affected by lymphodoema is a bit swollen and mottled, getting concerned.
