Dad was diagnosed in August with stage 3 cancer of the spleen and lymphoma nodes
His been undergoing chemo to slow the progress down since- not to completely cure it he has been doing really well and so upbeat you wouldn't even be able to tell . However I saw him yesterday and he just broke down he said to me his body is shutting down the hospital couldn't get bloods from her and his now lost his voice though it's not sore it's just gone croaky and has been like that for about 2 weeks now his now getting sores on his skin and is extremely constipated, his also complaining of being cold all the time! he really was very emotional and it's so hard to see or say anything for the best
I suppose those of you who have gone through this is loosing his voice a normal thing of the chemo
The winter weather is definitely not helping my parents are hardly going out anywhere, they just stay home doing puzzles, can't get in the garden to do any gardening , don't go for walks. Don't see anyone it's kind of like being back in isolation for them
