Breast lumpiness and pain

Hi,
Sorry to everyone that has found themselves on this chat and is going through a difficult time.

I have been referred to the breast clinic and have an appointment next week. One minute I am fine and sure I just have breast cysts and the next I've convince myself it is cancer.

Just wondering if anyone else had had similar symptoms to me and what it was please. One breast has a hard lump on the outer area (quite difficult to feel as it is deep within) and then smaller lumpy bits kind of in a line to almost my armpit. Also quite painful (which i know is usually a good sign).

Thanks for any replies/info

Hi, mine was the same, small lump quite deep, and then a few weeks later found a smaller, more obvious lump in armpit (in between waiting for appts and biopsy results).

turned out to be bc. However, I didn’t have pain. Only thing I really noticed was small lump which is why I was referred.

Mine was like that with pain and was cancer - lumps were hard and felt like walnuts of varying sizes rather than smooth. If put arm up breast went mishappen. It was lobular breast cancer.

However this is the cancer section so you are likely just to get people here where it was cancer and 9 referrals out of 10 its not. Hope you are one of those.

Hi,
I have a chain of lumps in outside of bigger breast - almost like a knotted rope.

All ok, just normal tissue that fluctuates with hormones.

sending you all the best luck
