Lumpectomy surgery (and lymph nodes) - support bra so uncomfortable

A week post lumpectomy surgery and the Anita support bra they have given me rubs my underarm where the lymph nodes were removed. If I sit totally still it’s fine but as soon as I move it so sore, I also find laying down to sleep uncomfortable too. They gave me a lovely heart cushion but I don’t find it helpful.

any advice greatly received

I didn’t wear my post op bra for the same reason. I bought a seam free crop top and wore that for about 6 months.

M&S do a wide range of post surgery bras. It might be that you need to try a few to see what’s most comfortable for you

I'm six years post lumpectomy and I wish I had known straight away about sloggi zero feel bras. It took me a couple of years to find a comfortable bra but they're the only ones I wear now.
