Hello, I was referred via the 2ww about a month ago for a noticeable lump on my right side of thyroid. Had ultrasound which was U3 and FNA which came back thy3f and had a hemithyroidectomy last week. They took the right side as well as isthmus (expected as the lump was almost 5cm) but surgeon also said he removed ‘numerous’ lymph nodes due to inflammation. Got a follow up appt in less than 2 weeks. Just looking for others with similar experiences please - what were your results of the pathology? Did you have another surgery?
